Saps.

I made this today. It seems fitting.

It might be the fruit loop vodka I’m enjoying this evening, but I’m feeling a little grateful and even mildly sappy after working on my end of the year bookkeeping math tax stuff and realizing how much Etsy and my blog have done for me this year.

It amazes me to see any sort of gain from the work I have put into both my blog and shop, and it amazes me that I am able to do things like buy groceries and pay my electric bill from people who buy things I write, collect, and create.

I have an extra busy week ahead of me and probably won’t be blogging here until next year. I have to catch up on bookkeeping and last minute work, plus Josh is standing in the kitchen dipping cookies into leftover cake so it’s really irresponsible for me to be sitting here writing instead of joining him. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has left a comment, purchased a sponsor spot or traded ads, bought something from my Etsy shop, favorited my items, hired me for copy, and engaged in witty banter with me on Twitter – you guys are all the best and I love what this space has given me. I am planning on 2013 being an even better year and am excited for the plans and goals I am setting to make sure that happens.

That being said, I really think you all need to go out and buy a bottle of loopy vodka. Three Olives brand. Tastes like fruit loops. Mix it with some Sprite. Maybe put on a fancy dress, too. You deserve it.
