Thursday Tunes
This isn’t a real post, I’m actually just trying to kill time as I contemplate whether to go finish my Christmas shopping or if I should wait it out just in case the world really does end tomorrow. At this point I’d definitely prefer to take on an apocalypse over trying to decide what to buy the men in my life.
I think I’ve mentioned my addiction to the RJD2 Pandora station. I love it because it’s introduced me to some wicked cool artists I had never heard of before. The first one is Lindsey Stirling, a violinist who was apparently on America’s Got Talent which surprises me because her music sounds way too badass to be associated with a Simon Cowell show.
My other new favorite is Wax Tailor, which is about as opposite of Lindsey Stirling as it gets. He is a French hip hop artist (need I say more?) who combines funky beats (yea I said funky beats) with old recordings. It’s amazing. Everytime this song comes on I get out a hula hoop and take a therapeutic break:
And lastly I am going to leave you with The Avalanches “Frontier Psychiatrist” because it’s been in my head for weeks and the video is the greatest thing that will ever happen to you if you’ve never seen it. It’s impossible to not smile.
What’s been on your playlist lately?

Darn you! I just read your blog for the first time and I’m now addicted to Lindsey Stirling’s music.
