Stuff & Things, Volume I

This was actually the first time I’ve ever tried a pulled pork sandwich of any kind and now I regret it because it was so good I could have cried and I haaaaaate eating red meat. We also had some “burnt ends” from Lockhart’s BBQ, which were delicious but make me a little uncomfortable because I just want to know what end of the pig it is. Then we tried a slider from Slows that had jalapeno sweet relish on it, which is something I want to make myself very soon. And I will also be finding a place that sells Trout Slayer Wheat beer, my favorite of the day.
Anyway, that was yesterday and now it’s today, which I planned on using to link up to some of my favorite reads from the week. I’ve bookmarked a lot of cool stuff lately so it’s about time I start sharing.

Love this roundup! Especially Miss Subways and the Tosh response (last 2 paragraphs especially).
And mmm, pulled pork… Dinner time!
The burnt ends–beef brisket.
I’ve always wondered what beef brisket too – you’ve solved all my meat confusion.
Uh, honey? I’m confused. Pork isn’t red meat.
Crap. I forgot. Well, it looks red or pink or something, and I’ve always been weirded out by pork stuff.
